FTISLAND

FTISLAND (Five Treasure ISLAND) is the first teen rock band in Korea. The group consists of Jong Hoon Choi (Leader, Guitar, and Keyboard), Hong Gi Lee (Lead Vocal), Jae Jin Lee (Bass and Vocal), Seung Hyun Song (Guitar and Vocal), and Min Hwan Choi (Drums). FTIsland debuted in 2007 with “Love Sick” and ranked number one in every broadcasting station in Korea, which earned them the nickname, “Monster Rookie.” A unit group, “FT.triple,” which only consisted of Jong Hoon, Jae Jin, and Min Hwan, appealed to a wider audience with fresh new music and developed themselves as more mature musicians. With their annual tours around Korea and Asia, FTISLAND’s popularity has skyrocketed and placed them in the center of Hallyu. The group’s recent debut in Japan with the record single, “SATISFACTION,” landed them at the number two spot on the Oricon chart. Moreover, each member of FTISLAND has been acting and emceeing on various TV programs in Korea, showing their infinite potential in the realm of entertainment.

A year before their official debut in 2010, CNBLUE had been performing on the street and in clubs over 100 times and recorded 2 record singles in Japan. Having tested their musicality, the group debuted in Korea with a mini album “BLUETORY” in January of 2010. Making an unforgettable impression on the debut stage, their album sales soared to number one within five days. Before CNBLUE’s official debut, the leader, Yong Hwa Jung, debuted as an actor in the Korean drama You’re Beautiful, and his popularity earned him roles on a number of TV variety shows. After their successful debut, CNBLUE had two concerts in Korea and a tour in Asia, all of which sold out. In addition, the group made history as every record single of their independent band was ranked in the top spot on the Oricon chart in Japan.
