As Powerhouse’s lead lighting designer and operator, Joo Seok Yoon has accumulated his skills by working with many renowned artists in Korea.  With his outstanding abilities in unique lighting design and artistic expression, he has been able to help the artists perform under best possible circumstances .

Joo Seok started as a lighting staff in Korea for top artists' concerts such as Shinhwa, g.o.d. and Kang Ta of H.O.T.   After residing in Southern California, Joo Seok started to pursue his academic career at Cerritos College studying architecture technology that would further enhance his expertise in lighting design.

His expertise has made him a coveted lighting designer and operator by the industries' top artists. Joo Seok has designed and operated the lighting system for concerts such as YG One Concert (2005), Big Bang Concert (2006), Big Mama and Boyz 2 Men (2006), JYP U.S. Tour (2008) and the 6th Annual Korean Music Festival at the Hollywood Bowl (2008).
 
Also, he has acquired a wide range of experience in international venues through TVXQ’s Asia Tour in 2006 and Rain World Tour in 2007. His experience ranges from Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and New York to name a few.

Notable venues that he has worked with are Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, Radio City Music Hall, and the Hollywood Bowl. He continues to show off his expertise through events in Powerhouse.
