As the Marketing and PR Coordinator in Powerhouse, James is in charge of researching and developing strategies and plans to identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development in order to meet the performance targets as outlined in the marketing and business plans of the company. He also develops and manages marketing budgets, and oversees the development and management of internal operation. In addition, James plans and coordinates public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.

Prior to Pohwerhouse, he began his professional career at the Los Angeles Galaxy as an intern in sales department. During his time at the Galaxy, he worked closely with the Home Depot Center and participated in all events that occurred during the game and under his supervision. James also worked as a liaison for Soccer United Marketing and the Su Won Bluewings; 2008 Korean professional soccer league champion. James honed his interactive and marketing skills and was able to work closely with the players and the logistics team to carry out games and events as smoothly as possible. Working with clients was also amongst his tasks, which allowed him to create an easy going environment for those attending vital events.

James received a B.A. in Business Administration; Marketing Management with an emphasis in Entertainment and Sports Management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
