Powerhouse, along with our Korean counterpart Good Concert (subsidiary of CJ), hosted a three-city tour with artists Park Jin Young (JYP) and the Wonder Girls. Guest performers were J-Lim, G.Soul, and 2PM. In December, JYP commenced his tour in Korea and crossed over to the U.S. to continue his tour in America. As a producer, JYP felt it necessary to bring over with him the Wonder Girls, which are a sensation not only in Korea, but in the Asian-American community as well. This visit was JYP’s second tour in the U.S., where his first tour featured several of his artists, which then included the Wonder Girls as well.
In addition to the concerts in the two of the largest cities, Los Angeles and New York, the hosts decided to include La Mirada to accommodate the large Asian-American population that resides in Orange County. Residents of Orange County were able to take advantage of the concert held at a nearby theatre. Powerhouse and Good Concert wanted to give fans the opportunity to get as much exposure to JYP and the Wonder Girls as possible.

Starting from their debut, the Wonder Girls have grasped the Korean pop industry and has made many hit songs with catchy tunes, which people of all ages sing along to. The choreography has become a trademark and is also widely imitated and performed by fans on a regular basis. Along with the Wonder Girls, JYP has composed many number one hit songs as well as choreographed many dance moves that has become a rage in Korea. With his elaborate sense of fashion, he has also stirred the audience with memorable stage costumes.
