Powerhouse was the official Asian-American Marketing Agency for the 2009 World Baseball Classics. Powerhouse executed a strategic marketing campaign targeting Asian-American communities and contributed to the Major League Baseball's record-breaking attendance in 2009. Successful planning and devotion brought communities together and a renewed excitement for baseball in the Asian community.
In addition to PR and marketing consultation, Powerhouse coordinated Asian media relations and targeted ticket sales for the 2009 Classics. The Asian media partnership forged by Powerhouse created the perfect marketing foundation for community outreach. Also, Powerhouse effectively carried out an advertisement campaign starting from creative development to timely scheduling of ad runs. Targeted ticket sales for Asian communities also contributed to increased ticket sales and participation that ultimately resulted in a record sales revenue for the Major League Baseball.
