BO RAM KIM
Operations and Event Coordinator
As the operations and event coordinator of Powerhouse, Bo Ram Kim has been involved in various events that eventually led her into the field of entertainment. During her involvement in the Korean American community for over ten years, she has had exposure to special events and concert productions, which sparked her interest in the field.
After completing her B.A. in Sociology at the University of California, Riverside, her fascination eventually led her to take part in stage operations in the 33rd, 34th and the 35th annual Los Angeles Korean Festival, which drew about 30,000 spectators each year. Bo Ram has planned and organized the annual opening ceremony, which kicks off the festival, with government officials and prominent speakers from Korea.
The Annual Korean Music Festival at the Hollywood Bowl also makes her list of events. With a larger scale of audience and artists, this concert allowed Bo Ram to gain the experience she needed to become a professional event planner today.
Recently she was in charge of Powerhouse operations the Cho Yong Pil concert at the Nokia Theater Live in Los Angeles and Radio City Music Hall in New York. Her duties encompassed all off-stage businesses such as media coverage coordination, on-site ticket sales, ushering, backstage hospitality and merchandise sales.
